Shallow Depth of Field Large Depth of Field
The picture on the left uses a shallow depth of field. I used an f2 aperture. I used an ISO of 400 but a cloudy white balance setting.
The picture on the right uses a large depth of field. I used an f16 . i used an ISO of 400 and a cloudy white balance setting.
I think the photo on the left with the shallow depth of field is better because the blurred background is appealing to me. I like to use a shallow depth of field because i like the background blur that it creates and it really makes the object in the foreground pop out. A large depth of field would be better if you wanted everything to be in focus so you could see the foreground and the background.
