My favorite photo is on the bottom left of the gallery. The photo was taken by pointing the camera straight down. It was taken in the morning in a snow pile outside my house while the light was still soft. The picture uses my legs as leading lines to carry the eye up the photo to the snowy shoes. I also uses the positive space , which is the shoes, and the negative space, which is the snow, to enhance the photo. The ISO was set on 400. The white balance was set on sunny. The shutter speed was fast even though i was not moving and the aperture was set on f22 so everything would be in focus. Because the environment i live in is so snowy, i decided to display that by taking a photograph in the snow. My photographs were successful because they exemplify my personality and show what i did on my vacation time. My self portrait is not a selfie because it uses technical aspects like leading lines and use of negative space to enhance the photo, instead of just standing in front of a mirror.
